cafe learning story

                    Coffee and hot Chocolates

Every week we (Kayla Mea and I) go down to the cafe to sell coffees and hot chocolates.

On the way down to the cafe we grab a bottle of milk out of the staff room fridge  because the one in the cafe doesn't work, and there for the milk turns chunky.

The next thing we do is turn on the machine and let it head up witch takes about 20 minutes,

When a costumer orders mea would take the money and put it in a jar or the cash regretter, then Kayla or i would put some chocolate powder in to a takeaway cup, then one of us will do the milk and pore it in to the cup, wish it and put the sprinkles on top we do that for each order unless its a coffee then its another process.

When its about 8:50 we go put the milk and money away and head back to class to start planing.

make up remover sciences progect

What is the most effective brought makeup remover or home made?
I wanted to find out what would be the most effective, brought make up remover or home made.

My hypothesis:
My hypothesis is that the brought one will work better than the homemade one because the chemicals will dissolve the makeup, but the homemade one is better for your skin.
Method
Step 1. Apply a small amount of foundation to hand , eye shadow and mascara.
Step 2. Take a clean cotton pad with nothing on it and swipe my hand with it
Step 3. Write down the data
Step 4. Apply the same amounts of makeup in the same places
Step 5. Take a cotton pad with brought makeup remover and swipe across face
Step 6. Write down data
Step 7. Apply the same amounts of makeup in the same places again
Step 8. Take a cotton pad with homemade makeup remover and swipe across face for the last time

Sausage Sizzle

Our learning story.

Sausage sizzle

Step 1
The first step we did was planning we had to figure out how we were going to fundraise for the disco. We figured that if we run a sausage sizzle the it would make a good amount of money.we printed out a school list so that when they came to order we could tick of their names of.On Monday Mea sat out the front waiting for orders,at the the end of the day she only got about 30 orders. On Tuesday Grace took the orders and got around 50 and on Wednesday we  got about 10 orders.

Step 2
We planned in a whole block to get everything set up and ready for the sausage sizzle.
We first went to the dairy across the road to buy napkins the bread, we bought a 80 pack and thought that would be about the right amount but then we counted how many orders we had ( which we should of done first) but then we ended up having 21 orders which meant we had to go back and get more napkins the we had to put the sausages in the oven.

Step 3
Next we handed out the sausages to lc3 and 4, jorja and nelle took them down two lc1 and 2.
We probably would of put the sausages in earlier so were running late to deliver the sausages to lC1 and lC2. I think we should of put the notice out a little bit earlier so others would know.
